ADELINE C. GREEN

Adeline C. Green, 95, died June 6, 2022 at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.

She was born Dec. 22, 1926, at Willowdale, Kansas the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Arensdorf Miller.  A resident of the Zenda community most of her life, she was a farm wife and homemaker.

Adeline was a member of the St. John Catholic Church and the Altar Society, both of Zenda.

On Jan. 12, 1954, she married C. Wayne Green at Willowdale; he died May 28, 1992.  Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Becky and Clint East, Junell  and Chauncey Swingle; brother Paul Miller; sisters Joan Smith, Mary M. Miller and Jeanette Gaider;  sister-in-law Wilma Leonaggeo; four grandchildren and their spouses Brennen and Adrienne East, Abbie East with Michael Huffman, Megan and Tom Resch and Jeff Swingle with Melissa Conroy; and two great-grandchildren Aubrey and Ella Resch.  She was also preceded in death by a brother Joseph "Sonny" Miller.

Parish rosary followed by the Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Friday,  June 17, 2022 at the St. John Catholic Church, Zenda.  Friends may call Thursday, June 16, at the Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Attica Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the St. John Catholic Church at Zenda and the Attica Senior Citizens Center, Attica, Kansas both in care of Livingston Funeral Home of Kingman.
