A.J. Fieser, 81, died April 15, 2014, at the Harper Hosptial.

He was born Sept. 19, 1932, at Norwich the son of Albert and Grace Fones Fieser. A lifetime resident of the Norwich community, he was a retired farmer and stockman.

He was a member of the Norwich United Methodist Church; the Harper Masonic Lodge A.F.&A.M., the Scottish Rite Bodies and the Midian Shrine, both of Wichita; and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

On June 20, 1956, he married Carol Sunderland at Wichita. Other survivors include two sons, Carl Durr and Jay Fieser; 2 daughters Sondra Nickell and Teresa VanGieson; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters Marjorie Wacker and Doris Johnson.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday at the Norwich United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Upchurch Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the Norwich EMS or the Harper District Hospital, both in care of the funeral home.
