Alvin L. Ricker, 90, died Dec. 19, 2012 at Pratt.
He was born Dec. 3, 1921, at Bellefont, Kansas the son of John L. and Anna Miller Ricker. A longtime resident of the Nashville and Zenda communities, he was the retired General Manager for the Farmer's CO-OP in Nashville, Zenda, Alden and Stafford.
He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Nashville; the CO-OP Council, former member of the Zenda City Council, a charter member of the Nashville-Zenda Lions Club; and was a WWII U.S. Army Air Force veteran.
On Oct. 22, 1945, he married Ethel Zecha at Ellinwood, Kansas. Other survivors include son James and his wife Nancy; daughter Becky Mosshart and her husband Sam; brother Franklin and his wife Lillian; sister Mary Ann Schrag and husband Bob; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers Leonard and Harold and sisters Mildred Domey and Betty Nestler.
Services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday at the St. John Luther Church, Nashville. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the St. John Lutheran Church and Southwind Hospice, both in care of the funeral home.
