Andrew J. Mertens, 31, died Nov. 12, 2016, at Kingman.
He was born March 20, 1985, at Kingman the son of Craig and Jean Peitz Mertens. A lifetime resident of
Kingman, he was an oil delivery driver for Farmer's Oil of Anthony. Andrew was a passionate man. He loved his family, friends and America. He found great joy and pride in driving his semi.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman.
Survivors include two sons Isaac and Bentley; daughter Taylor; father Craig and Karen Scott; mother Jean Clark and Brad Patterson; grandparents Robert and Rita Peitz, LeRoy and Patti Mertens and Juanita Lubbers; brother Adam; and sister Abby Willmon and her husband Brandon.
Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m, Friday, also at St. Patrick's. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, at Livingston Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Mertens Children's Education Fund in care of the funeral home.
