Obituary
KINGMAN - Armin D. Gering, 79, died Oct. 31, 2010, at the Golden Age Home, Cheney. He was born July 10, 1931, near Pretty Prairie, Kan., the son of Ewalt and Doris Stucky Gering.
A lifetime resident of the Kingman Community, he was a retired owner/operator of Gering Auto Repair. He was a member of the Kingman Church of the Nazarene.
He married Luella Isaac Feb. 13, 1955, in Greensburg. Other survivors include: son, Greg and wife Stacey; daughter, Doris Prater and husband David; sisters, Marilyn Kalmar, Sharon Steffler and Evelyn Colvard; and four grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman, with lunch and fellowship to follow. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made with the Armin Gering Auto Mechanic Scholarship in care of the funeral home.
