Austin Wright, 90, died June 2, 2014, in Wichita.

He was born July 18, 1923, at Wichita the son of Alvin and Grace Hodgson Wright. A resident of the Norwich community most of his life, he was a retired farmer, dairy farmer and stockman.

He was a member of the National Audobon Society; and was a WWII U.S. Army veteran.

On June 8, 1951, he married Ramona Goodman at Argonia. Other survivors include 3 sons and their wives, Donald and Kathy, Allen and Karen and Larry and Virginia; daughter Cindy Wright; sisters Eleanor Shortle and Rosemary Smith; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother David.

Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday and from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday. Funeral services will 10:00 a.m., Friday a the Norwich United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Upchurch Cemetery.
