Betty M. Hauser, 85, died Jan. 13, 2020 at Pratt.

She was born April 6, 1934, at Nashville, Kansas the daughter of Harold and Hazel Keith Venard. A lifetime resident of the Nashville community, she was Ward clerk at Pratt Regional Medical Center and former Med Aide at Hilltop Manor, Cunningham.

Betty was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church.

On Feb. 12, 1951, she married Eugene E. Hauser at St. Leo; he died March 15, 2009. Survivors include children and their spouses, Susan Hauser, Jim (Mary) Hauser, Ann Hauser, Bob Hauser, Ed (Wanda) Hauser, Mary (Rich) Keller, Bonnie Huss, Donna (Frank) Akiu, Karen Castillo, Kris Epa, Mick (Michelle) Hauser; brothers Lloyd and Harold Venard; sister Bonnie Strothman; 24 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by daughter Patt Kimball; brother Johnny Venard; and an infant sister Helen.

Parish rosary will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 at St. Leo Catholic Church with the Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the St. Leo Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the St. Leo Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
