Betty L. Krehbiel, 81, died April 12, 2017, at the Cheney Golden Age Home, Cheney, Kansas.
She was born Nov. 13, 1935, at Belmont, Kansas the daughter of Lloyd and Magel Chaney Calhoun. A longtime resident of the Kingman and Belmont communities, she was a retired CNA at Pennock's Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Kingman United Methodist Church.
Betty is survived by a son Ferlin James; sisters Norma Jean Meredith, Ellen Catlin and Beverly Buttrum; grandchildren Justin, Lisa, Kristen, Brooke and Leslie; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Pamela Jean; and brother Sonny Calhoun.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time on the day of the services. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont, Kansas.
Memorials may be made with the Harry Hynes Hospice, both in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
