BILLY MYRON STRAIT
Billy Myron Strait, 81, died April 6, 2013.
He was born Jan. 2, 1932, at Metz, Missouri, the son of Edward Hayes and Gladys Faye Goodwin Strait.
A longtime Kingman resident, he was the owner of Kingman Radio Shop.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge #230 and Commandry, 32nd degree Consistory, Midian Temple Shrine, VFW, and Della Chapter of Eastern Star, all of Kingman.
On Jan. 7, 1951, he married Cora Lou Cox at Wichita; she died May 28, 2010. Survivors include son Chris; daughter Stacy Kovar; sister Mary Lou Miller; brothers Winte and Bob; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home, with the family present from 6-8p.m.. Burial will be in the Old Mission Mausoleum, Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made with the Bill and Cora Lou Strait Memorial Scholarship Fund at KSU.
