BONITA ANDERS

Bonita Joan Jamieson Renfro Anders went to be with Jesus on Dec. 18, 2021, from complications with diabetes and Covid.  She was born March 30, 1938, to Orville and Hanna Ruth Mooney Jamieson.

She grew up in in the Hutchinson area and went to many area schools.  She married Barry Duane Renfro on June 10, 1956, at graduated from Hutch High in 1957.

Barry and Bonita travels to many U.S. Navy bases and several foreign bases through out the world.  She was thrilled to travel and learn about different cultures.  With their marriage came Michael Renfro and Nancy Renfro Sisler Zerger.  Their marriage ended in 1978.  She then married Wayne Anders in 1984, in South Carolina; he passed away in 1986 in  Hutchinson.  She was a constant in the lives of her grandchildren.

Survivors include brother Jim (Bonnie) Jamieson; sister Beverly (Robert) Eldredge Marrant; daughter Nancy Zerger and husband Tarry; son Mike Renfro and wife Peggy; grandchildren Logan (Joan) Sisler, Daniel Sisler, Stacie Sisler Cundith, Sarah Zerger, Kristina Zerger; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2021 at the United Methodist Church, Cheney.
