Brittney Dawn Jayne was born November 1, 1995, to Kelly D. and Carol R. Jayne in Liberal, Kansas. She was a life-long resident of the Kingman community and a 2014 graduate of Kingman High School. Brittney went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2020 in Kingman, Kansas surround by her family and close friends. She was 24 years of age.
Brittney developed a passion for caring for people while in high school when she earned her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and worked for Wheatlands Health Care Facility. While employed at Wheatlands, she earned her Certified Medication Aide certificate and later went on to earn her Emergency Medical Technician certification. In 2019, she was hired by the city of Kingman as an EMT where she served until her death. She loved her job as an EMT and looked forward to earning her Paramedic certification.

While helping others was Brittney's passion, her leisure time was usually spent enjoying outdoor activities, especially camping, hunting, and fishing. Her favorite sport was softball and she was an avid fan of Oklahoma University sports. She shared her love of these activities with her family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews, and made many lasting memories with them.

Survivors include her parents, brothers Andrew and his wife Heather of Valley Center, Kansas, Scott and his wife Samantha of Eudora, Kansas, sister Christina of Edmonton, Kentucky, five nieces, five nephews, and many friends.
While keeping within current health concerns the family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Also with current public health concerns, a private burial service will be held followed by a public Celebration of Life at a later date.

Memorials may be made with the Kingman Christian Church, Kingman EMS, and the Kingman Community Hospital Oncology Department, all in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
