Carlos A. Schwartz, 89 , died Feb. 22, 2014, at Hospice House of Reno County in Hutchinson.
He was born Nov. 17, 1924, at Kingman County, KS, the son of Charles and Anna Fischer Schwartz.
A lifetime resident of Kingman County, he was a farmer and stockman.
He was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church.
On Aug. 19, 1953, he married Dorothy Wiemann at St. Louis, MO. Other survivors include daughters Janis Schwartz, Hutchinson and Linda Kotapish, Wamego, KS; brothers Marc , Lawrence, KS and Delbert, Kingman; sister Dixie Hageman, Fowler, KS; and grandchildren Clayton and Aly Hern. He was preceded in death by brother Robert; and granddaughter Nikki Hern.
Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the St. Leo Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Leo Church Cemetery.
