Carol E. Gunn, 69, died Nov. 21, 2014, at Wichita

She was born Feb. 19, 1945, at Savannah, Georgia the daughter of Sol and Eileen Anderson Roehl. A Kingman resident since 1994, previously of Salina, she was an Administrative Assistant for Klaver Construction.

Carol was a member of the Kingman Christian Church, the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was a member of the singing group Sisters of Habit. She was active in several crafting groups and loved expressing her art.

Her most fulfilling endeavor, however, was working with EF High School Exchange. Carol hosted countless teens throughout the years and helped place many more in homes that were a perfect fit. She loved every one of her students and held them all dear to her heart.

Carol met Bill Gunn while skydiving and they were married on Oct. 14, 1967 at Hill City; he died July 27, 1997. Survivors include daughter Skye Gunn Christensen and husband Alan; mother Eileen Roehl; brother Sol "Butch" L. Roehl; sister Jean Gisel; grandchildren Cortland and Aylan; and 11 beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014 at the Kingman Christian Church.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday at Roselawn Cemetery, Salina.

Friends may call from 1:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman with family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made with National Brain Tumor Society and Kingman Elementary/Middle School Coat Drive in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
