CARROL D. ZERGER

Carrol D. Zerger, 90, died Dec. 27, 2021 at Kingman.

He was born Oct. 31, 1931, near Belmont, Kansas the son of John and Emma Kaufman Zerger.  A lifetime resident of the Kingman community, he was a retired manager and serviceman for Kansas Gas Service.

Carrol was a member of the Kingman Mennonite Church and presently attending the First Mennonite Church in Pretty Prairie.

On June 30, 1962, he married Arlene Schrag at Mounridge.  Other survivors include sons Linn Zerger

, and Darrin Zerger and his wife Sheri; daughter Charlene Childs; and 5 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by brothers Waldo, Carl and Glen.

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, at the Kingman Mennonite Cemetery followed by services at the First Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie at 3:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.

Memorials may be made with First Mennonite Church or Rivercross Hospice both in care of the funeral home.
