Cecil D. New, 48, died Aug. 19, 2019, near Kiowa, Kansas.

He was born Dec. 22, 1970, at Houston, Texas the son of Thomas Fred and Mary Neumann New. A longtime Kingman resident he was a roustabout for several years
for Abe's Oil Field Service and currently was a foreman for Val Energy.

Cecil was a member of the Kingman Christian Church.

On Oct. 31, 1992, he married Noni Jackson at the Kingman Christian Church. Other survivors include two sons, Christopher and Cody; his mother Mary Adams; brother Billy Adams and wife Cassie; sisters Cheryl Pike, Cinda Keeling and husband Alan, Dawn Adams, Carolyn McHaley and husband Robert; sister-in-law Becky Adams; and grandchildren Liana Laura and A.J. Wooten. He was preceded in death by his fathers Thomas Fred New and Herbert Adams; and brother Gary Adams.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, at the Kingman Christian Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Hoosier Cemetery.
