Charlie Henning, 78, died Nov. 23, 2015 at Kingman.

He was born April 22, 1937, at Kingman the son of John and Mary Bohrer Henning. A longtime Kingman resident, having also lived in Liberal, he was a retired truck mechanic and foreman; and former grounds supervisor at the Kingman Country Club.

He was a member of the Catholic Church.

On Nov. 11, 2005, he married Marcelene Frey at Waterloo. Other survivors include son Cody Henning and Ty Eason; daughters Holly Russell and Stacey Dock; step-son Tommy Dudley; step-daughters Dorinda Dudley and Pamela Wilson; brothers Elmer and Herman; sisters Vicki Weber, Joyce Henning and Emily Ward; 8 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 8 step-great-grandchildren.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, in the Livingston Family Center, Kingman.

Memorials may be made with the Kingman Community Hospital in care of the funeral home.
