CLAY A. "BUS" YOUNG

Clay A. "Bus" Young, 93, died Sept. 23, 2010 at his home in rural Kingman County.

He was born May 3, 1917, near Belmont, Kansas the son of Carl C. and Anna Jane Gibson Young. A lifetime resident of Kingman County, he was a farmer.

He was a member of the Norwich church of Christ; and was a WW II U.S. Army veteran.

On June 21, 1942, he married Esther Maple at the Maple Family farm near Belmont, Kansas; she died Oct. 26, 2008. Survivors include sons Ron and David; three daughters and their husbands, Jane and Mark Seim, Elaine and Larry McCullough and Marty and Charlie McCann; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Hunt Cemetery.
