Connie U. Strohl, 94, died July 29, 2017, at the Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie.
She was born Jun 1, 1923, at Norwich, Kansas the daughter of Bruce and Mildred Coffman Smith. A resident of Pretty Prairie most of her life, she was the retired co-owner/operator of Strohl Oil.
Connie was a member of the United Methodist Church, Pretty Prairie.
On June 24, 1944, she married Joel T. Strohl at Norwich; he died Aug. 27, 2010. Survivors include two sons and their wives, Scott and Cathie Strohl and Sid and Mary Ann Strohl; brother Lyle Smith; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother Lynn; and a sister Ruby Glea Johnston.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, at the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church or Prairie Sunset Home, both in care of the funeral home.
