CURTIS D. TERHUNE

Curtis D. Terhune, 82, died Jan. 30, 2026 at Hilltop Manor, Cunningham.

He was born Oct. 18, 1943 at Yuba City, California the son of William Harvey Terhune and Uda Nadine West-Sherman. A longtime Kingman resident, he was a caregiver, truck driver and a mechanic.

Curtis was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the Kansas Army National Guard.

He married Cheryl Capelo; she died in 2021. He married Carrie Bennett; she died in 2018. Survivors include sons Rodrick and Terry Terhune; daughters Dawn (Angel Starr), Dodie Kipp Charles; brother John Wayne Terhune; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; extra special granddaughter Tiffany Lopez; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother Lucas Earl Terhune; son Curtis Dean, Jr.; and daughter Keisha Vitale

Curtis enjoyed mechanical work, fishing, collecting clocks, movies, playing cards, sewing, jigsaw puzzles, FOOD, animals and visiting friends and family

Private family services will be held at a later date.
