Daisy May Thorne, 93, died May 30, 2018, at LaCrosse, Kansas.
She was born Sept. 7, 1924, in Oklahoma the daughter of Albert and Carrie Frazier Weidner. A longtime resident of the Penalosa community, she was a homemaker.
On June 3, 1968, she married Curtis Thorne at Fairview, Oklahoma; he died July 9, 1988. Survivors include son Albert; daughter Carrie Holliday and Juanita Stonehocker; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter Mary Lou Cornelson; and brothers Virgil, Claude and Ernest.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lerado Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with Locust Grove Village Nursing Home of LaCrosse in care of the funeral home.
