DANIEL BIGGS, Jr.

Daniel Biggs, Jr., 86 died April 1, 2011 at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.

He was born Nov. 2, 1924, at Waterloo, Kansas the son of Daniel E., Sr. and Anna Frey Biggs.
A lifetime resident of the Kingman and Waterloo communities, he was retired from Cessna Aircraft Co.

He was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church; was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus; the Farm Bureau and Soil Conservation; and various church organizations and activities.

On Oct. 24, 1950, he married Angeline "Angie" Martin at St. Marys Aleppo, Kansas. Other survivors include sons Greg, Brad and Daniel III; daughters Sharon Buscher, Connie Leavitt, Marianne Larue and Judi Garbuio; brother Don; sister Barbara Biggs; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Parish rosary will be 6:00 p.m., Sunday at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman immediately followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday also at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Church Building Fund, Hospice Care of Kansas and Wheatlands Healthcare Center, all in care of the funeral home.
