Darlene F. Goering, 91, died Dec. 5, 2022 at the Prairie Sunset Home.

She was born Oct. 12, 1931, at Pretty Prairie the daughter of Henry and Emma Albrecht Vogt.  A lifetime resident of the Pretty Prairie community, she was a former MA for the Prairie Sunset Home.

Darlene was a member of the First Mennonite Church, the Sewing Society and the Women's Chorus.

On June 15, 1949, she married Harry Goering; he died April 16, 2005.  Survivors include three sons and their wives, Wayne and Leah, Randy and Kellee and Terry and Denita; brother Darrell Vogt; 9 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a brother Robert; and grandsons Andrew Goering and Ryan Beres.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday at the First Mennonite Church.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the Prairie Sunset Home in care of the funeral home.
