DAVID LEE DAVIS

David Lee Davis, 82, passed away peacefully at his home at Arrowhead West in Wichita, Kansas, on August 8, 2026.

He was born November 29, 1943, in Kingman, Kansas, to Bill and Theda (Beshore) Davis. David Lee grew up on the family farm near Murdock. In the third grade, he moved to Kingman to live with his grandparents, Harvey and Effie (Moorhouse) Beshore, in order to attend a school that could better meet his needs.

After his grandparents’ deaths, David Lee returned to the family farm and became a great help to his mother. Following her death, he moved to Arrowhead West in 2007, where he made many friends and enjoyed an active life as part of its caring community.

David is survived by his brother, Dennis (Patricia) Davis; sisters, Deanna (Ron) Tarlton and Donna Robertson; nephews, David (Renee), Daron and Will Tarlton and Justin (Kara) Robertson; nieces, Shannon (Peter) Ford, Breanne (Ray) Chen, Holly (Jason) Noble and Felisa (Neal) Jorgenson; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman. The family will be receiving friends beginning at noon that day. Burial will follow in Vinita Cemetery, southwest of Cheney.
