Dixie G. Simpson Orth, 87, died March 5, 2014, at her home in Kingman.

She was born Oct. 6, 1926, at Pratt, Kansas. A longtime resident of Kingman, she was the retired owner/operator of the Gift Gallery.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Rotary Club, both of Kingman.

She was married to John Simpson; he died May 15, 1974. On Jan. 5, 1991, she married Leonard Orth; he died Feb. 12, 2013. Survivors include two sons Clark and Coke; daughter Sheila; and 2 grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by sisters Coetta, Pauline and Helen.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday at the First Presbyterian Church, Kingman. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
