Donald E. Albright, 91, died Aug. 30, 2016, at Hospice House of Reno County.
He was born Jan. 30, 1925, at Pretty Prairie the son of Irvin and Bertha Young Albright. A lifetime resident of the Pretty Prairie community, he was a retired farmer.
Don was a member of the United Methodist Church; formerly of the Roscoe Township Board, the VFW, the National Timberwolves Association, and was a thirty-seven year member of the SPEBSQSA; and was a WWII U.S. Army veteran.
On Oct. 1, 1943, he married Rowena Burwell at Camp Roberts, California. Other survivors include sons and their wives, Bruce and Kim, Leon, Edward and Janeen; two daughters and their husbands, Jan and Tom Rogers and the Rev. Sharlan and Rev. Mike Graber, and; sister Lelya Field; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m, Saturday, at the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church or the Reno County Veteran's Memorial, both in care of Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.
