Kingman-
Donald J. "Don" Bogner, 72, died Oct. 19, 2008, at his home in rural Kingman. He was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Dodge City, the son of Bob and Alma Stein Bogner. A Kingman resident since 1960, he was a retired farmer, carpenter, and Don Dye employee.
He was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman; and was a former member of the Wichita Diocesan Catholic School Board.
On Aug. 22, 1959, He married Maureen McFadden at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kingman. Other survivors include: a son and his wife, Mark and Julie; daughters and their husbands, Theresa and Rick Rogers, Mary and Len Messenger, Ann and Dan Meng, Becky and Jason Birkenbaugh, Sarah and Josh Holthusen; brothers Duane and Dennis; sisters Darlene Gleason, Delores Engelhardt, Donna Schawe; sister-in-law, Diane Bogner, and 20 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son John, and a brother Delbert.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Chuirch. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Parish Rosary will be 7 p.m. today at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery Kingman. Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Church Building Fund
