Donald E. Nett, 86, died Jan. 31, 2017, at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.

He was born Dec. 19, 1930, at Rexford, Kansas the son of Roy and Cleo Loades Nett. A Kingman resident since 1965, he was the retired Collingwood and ADM Grain Elevator Manager.

Don was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Masonic Lodge, Lions Club, the VFW and York Rite Bodies, all of Kingman; the Midian Shrine; and was a veteran of the U.S. during the Korean War.

On Dec. 25, 1951, he married Mildred "Jinks" Misak at Lyons. Other survivors include a son Dwight and his wife Donna; daughter Denise Maloney; sister Delpha Near; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Doneta Beasley; a brother Roy "Jr."; and a sister Joyce Tummons.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Military graveside services will be 12:30 p.m., Saturday, at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons.

Memorials may be made with the First Presbyterian Church or the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy, both in care of the funeral home.
