Donald Lee Russel, 77, died April 5, 2023, at Pleasanton, Texas.
He was born March 8, 1946, at Sutherland, Nebraska the son of Franklin and Mary Russell.
A longtime Wichita resident, he was employed by J&G Security.
Donald was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church; and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
On Oct. 26, 1973, he married Nancy Mae Schindler at Miami, Oklahoma; she died June 3, 2019,Survivors include four sons, Derek (Jenny), Darren (Brenda), Damon (Eric Steele) and Devin (Sandra); daughter Danine (Larry, Sr.) Oxendine; brothers Leonard and Kenneth; sister Cindy Laubner; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a son Donald Lee Russell, Jr; and two sisters Yvonne Snyder and June Jackson.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 17, 2023, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont, Kansas.
Memorials may be made with the Kansas Humane Society and the Patriot Guard, both in care of
the Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N Main, Kingman, Kansas 67068.
