Doris D. Bieler, 84, died Nov. 5, 2013 at Hilltop Manor, Cunningham.
She was born July 10, 1928, at Wakeeny, Kansas the daughter of Remis and Katie Diehl Schneider. She was a longtime checker at the IGA Store.
She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Ellis; the Ladies Aide and formerly of the VFW Auxiliary.
In June 18, 1950, she married Burgess Bieler; he died Nov. 21, 2001. Survivors include daughters Mary Hartman and Donna Dewey; sister Berniece Hazen; 6 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son Kenneth and a great-grandchildren.
Private memorial graveside services were held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Ellis, Kansas.
Memorials may be made with the Christ Lutheran Church of Ellis.
