DOROTHA LORENE COYKENDALL

Rago – Dorotha Lorene Coykendall, 96, passed away October 20 2022.

She was born January 29, 1926 four miles south of Murdock, Kansas in a farm house. She is the daughter of Virgil and Damaris Van Gieson.  A resident near Adams since 1952, previously of Kingman and Wichita, she was devoted wife and homemaker.

Feb. 16, 1944 she married Almon (Dick) Coykendall at Harper. Other survivors include: son, Rod Coykendall and wife Alvena of Adams, Ks; daughters Marsha Howell and husband Bill of Choctaw Ok. , and Rita Pavlovich and husband Jack of McPherson Ks.; 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  She is proceeded in death by her husband Almon (Dick), a brother, Lee, and sisters Virgilene, Wynetta, and Margaret,

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Harper Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Milton or Pleasant Hill of Hutchinson, 2500 Pleasant Hills Pkwy, Hutchinson, KS   67502, both in care of the funeral home.
