Dorothy E. Dick, 88, died Oct. 29, 2015, at Halstead.

She was born Nov. 5, 1926, in Reno County, Kansas the daughter of Henry and Estella Blasi Rohling. A longtime resident of the Zenda community, she was a homemaker and a licensed cosmetologist.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead; was a former 4-H leader, and member of the EHU, D of I, and the Altar Society.

On Nov. 23, 1948, she married Leonard Dick at Garden Plain; he died April 27, 2009. Survivors include 3 sons and their wives David and Deana, Ronald and Debbie, Dennis and Vicki, and Leon; 5 daughters and their husbands Carolyn and Gary Kern, Shirley and David Gustafson, Elaine and Darrell Robinson, Betty and Blake Andrews and Joyce and Eddie Holiday; brothers Norbert and Gerald; sister Margaret Ann Dick; son-in-law Michael Jones; 38 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Jane Jones; brothers Jerome and Ralph; an infant sister Ida Mae Rohling; and grandson Mathew Gustafson.

Parish rosary will be at 10:30 a.m,, Tuesday at the St. John Catholic Church, Zenda with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery.
