Dorothy Jean Henricks, 92, died Nov. 2, 2019, at Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie, KS.

She was born Jan. 24. 1927, at Butler, MO, the daughter of Henry A. and Leona Inez Padley Gough. A six year resident of Pretty Prairie, previously of Sunrise Beach, MO, she was an administrative assistant at Washburn University.

Dorothy was a member of the Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church in Laurie, MO.

On June 12, 1948, she married Ernest C. Henricks at Kansas City, MO; he died April 7, 2014. Survivors include son Douglas (Lori); daughters Kathy (Kirk) Larson and Cynthia Emmot; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m., Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Pretty Prairie, Ks. Friends may call before service time at the church. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler, Mo.
