DOROTHY PROBST

Dorothy Probst, 95, died Dec. 20, 2011 at the Long Term Care Unit, Hoxie, Kansas.

She was born March 21, 1916, in Barber County the daughter of Henry and Agnes Walter Pelzl. A resident of Kingman and Cunningham communities most of her life, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and the Altar Society, all of Kingman.

On Aug. 30, 1939, she married William Probst; he died Aug. 31, 1992. Survivors include sons Tony, Leonard, Bill and Jim; daughters Sister LeAnn, Jeannie McNeff, Marilyn Pendergraft, Patricia Lett, Deb Kaufman and Eileen Lohmeyer; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son Richard.

The Daughters of Isabella rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 27, followed by the parish rosary at 7:30 p.m., both at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cunningham.

Memorials may be made with St. Patrick School in care of Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.
