Dorothy Kautzer Siebert, 98, died June 20, 2014, at Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie.
She was born Aug. 25, 1915, at Pretty Prairie the daughter of Alfred and Elisabeth Albright Unruh. A lifetime resident of the Pretty Prairie community, she was a former cook for the Pretty Prairie Grade School and a former clerk for the Pretty Prairie Post Office.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the UMW, both of Pretty Prairie.
On April 28, 1940, she married Harry P. Kautzer; he died Feb. 9, 1979. On June 5, 1993, she married Sig Siebert; he died Feb. 11, 1998. Survivors include 2 daughters Kay Krehbiel and her husband Riley, and Mary Belt and husband Farrell; step-daughter Mary Gayl Nash; 3 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brothers Victor and Leonard; and sisters Renetta Siemens and Gertrude Barr.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, at the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Prairie Sunset Home in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
