Dorothy J. Sloan, 87, died March 16, 2023, at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.

She was born July 15, 1935, the daughter of Arthur and Allie Jane Richard Sloan.  A lifetime resident of Kingman most of her life, she was a former teacher in Colwich, Pennock Nursing Home and MedAid.

Dorothy was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Survivors include her sister Donna Willard and her husband Merill; nephew Terrill Willard; niece Sherry Willard; great-nieces Paige Burns and Mikayla Lander; and great-nephew Brandon Burns.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Allie Jane Sloan; and a brother Roy.

Funeral services will 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Cleveland Cemetery.
