DUANE L. ALLENDER

Duane L. Allender, 76, died Nov. 2, 2026 at Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita.

He was born Sept. 20, 1950, in Kingman the son of Ray and Elnora Brown Allender.  A longtime resident of Wichita, previously of Pratt, he retired from Cessna Aircraft in the painting department.  He was also the former owner/operator of Allender's 66 in Pratt.

Duane was a member of the Community Daylight Lodge #453, the Scottish Rite bodies and the Midian Shrine Temple, all of Wichita.

On Aug. 14, 1981, he married Barbara Pickering at Pratt.  Other survivors include sons Jeff, Darrin and Travis; daughters Michelle Stamper and Jenny Allender; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother Don and a brother who died in infancy; and sisters Shirley Johnston and Carol Goodnight.

Family services will be a later date.

Memorials have been suggested to the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy fund and mailed to the Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman KS 67068.
