ELDON DELBERT SCHRAG

Eldon Delbert Schrag, 94, passed away July 30, 2019, in Wichita.

He was born March 23, 1925, in Burrton, Kansas the son of David and Adina Flickner Schrag. A longtime resident of the Norwich community, he was an electrician and business owner, having previously worked overseeing maintenance at Cessna and Coleman.

Eldon was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge and the Lions Club, all of Norwich; was a former City Councilman and Mayor of Norwich; a former member of the Norwich School Board; and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

On January 27, 1945, he married Ruth Fieser at Norwich. She died June 27, 2018. Survivors include daughter Linda (Stuart) Mack; brothers Myron (Erica) Schrag, Joe (Nancy) Schrag, sister Ruby Unruh; sisters-in-law Verdene and Marilyn Schrag; grandchildren Kyle Woodrow, Katie (Matthew) Smith, Kevin (Kelli) Mack, Ryan Mack; great grandchildren Emma, Carter, and Corbin Smith, Hannah and Riley Mack.
Preceded in death by parents; wife Ruth; daughter Karen; brothers Lester, Glenn, Allen, sister Bessie Schrag, brother-in-law Allison Unruh, sisters-in-law Joleen and Frances Schrag.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the Norwich United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Church. Burial with military honors will be in the Upchurch Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the Norwich United Methodist Church or Good Shepherd Hospice both in care of Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.
