ELIZABETH J. "BETTY" WILSON

Elizabeth J. "Betty" Wilson, 88, died March 1, 2021 at Wichita.

She was born Sept. 14, 1932, at Jetmore, Kansas the daughter of Henry and Rose Riedel Niedens.  A longtime Hutchinson resident, she formerly worked for KP&L, SW Bell and retired from the Hutchinson Clinic.

Betty attended St. Teresa and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Churches, Hutchinson.

On January 3, 1951, she married Jim A. Wilson at Hutchinson; he died Jan. 9, 2014.  Survivors include sons Jim, Jr., Russell, Tom, and Mark; daughters Mary Bura, Julie Kater, Roberta York, Monica Brown, Noreen Josserand and Andrea Fischer; 30 grandchildren; and numerous great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a brother Warren; and sisters Lorraine Ravenkamp, Ethaleen Dillinger, Bernice Carson and Orletta Gerber.

Parish rosary will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the St. Leo Catholic Church with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in the St. Leo Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the St. Leo Catholic Church or Serenity Hospice both in care of Livingston Funeral Home.
