Elsie M. "Elsie" Cornelius, 99, died Nov. 29, 2021 in Kingman.

She was born Oct. 19, 2021, in Gersdorf an der Mur, Austria the daughter of Ludwig M and Anna Walch Scheffaur.  A resident of Kingman most of her life, she was retired Head of Housekeeping for the Kingman Community Hospital. Elsie was also a foster parent for many, many children in her life.

On Aug. 24, 1953. she married Wayne Lee Cornelius in Austria; he died Nov 14, 1980. Survivors include  two sons Ludwig H. Cornelius and Ed Cornelius; grandchildren Kirsten, Ludwig E., Dulcie, Ashlea, Jared, Jason, Nick, Ryan and Jenny; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild;  and foster-daughter Donna Burgess.  She was also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Paige.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home with the family receiving friend from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery outside Zenda.
