ELVIRA G. "Sis" Rinke

Elvira G. "Sis" Rinke, 89, died July 15, 2020, at her home in Kingman.

She was born Feb. 27, 1931, at Nashville, Kansas the daughter of Conard and Hilda Seiwert Fischer. A Kingman resident since 1952, she was a homemaker.

"Sis" was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman.

On Oct. 3, 1950, she married Donald T. Rinke at Sharon, Kansas; he died Dec. 4, 2014. Survivors include two sons and their wives, Mike and Sherry, and Dan and Kayletta; daughter Terri Moore and her husband Scott; brothers Norman, Donald and Eugene Fischer; four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brothers Joseph, Herman, Vince and Elmer; and sisters Burnetta McCreath and Rosalma Wiley and infant Mary.

Parish rosary will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family present from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Church or Wheatlands Healthcare Center both in care of the funeral home.
