EMILY A. (HENNING) WARD

Emily A. Henning Ward, 86, died Nov. 9, 2017, at Great Bend.
She was born Oct. 18, 1931, in Kingman County the daughter of John and Mary Bohrer Henning. A longtime Great Bend resident, she was a former LPN.
In 1950 she married Richard Kathman; he preceded her in death. In 1974 she married James Ward; he died in 2004. Survivors include son Joe and Rick Kathman and David Ward; daughters Jane Berg, Sue Kathman, April Ward and Misti Ward; brothers Elmer and Herman; sisters Vicki Weber and Joyce Henning; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by son James Kathman; brothers Charlie, Donald, Marvin, Ralph and Bill; sisters Evelyn Denison and Mary Ann Mies; and grandchildren Abe and Shane Kalani.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 pm Tuesday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman with the rosary being recited at 1:30 p.m. Graveside services at 2:00 p.m., at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with St. Patrick Grade School of Kingman or St. Jude Children's Hospital, both in care of the funeral home.
