ENID B. BROWNING BROWN

Enid B. Browning Brown, 91, died Oct. 3, 2010 at South Wind Hospice House, Pratt.;

She was born Nov. 30, 1918, at Neola, Kansas the daughter of Herbert and Zina Maie McKibben Browning. A Kingman County resident since 1954, she was a retired bookkeeper and receptionist for Donley Clinic and Hospital for over 30 years; and was a volunteer cook for the Silver Maple Camp.

She was a member of the Penalosa Church of Christ.

On July 16, 1938, she married Cecil Brown at St. John, Kansas; he died Nov. 19, 1979. Survivors include 3 daughters and their husband, Linda and Larry Hamm, Janet and Stan Hansen and Nancy and Mike Hearn; 11 grandchildren; 2 foster grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter Doris Jayne Brown; brother Minor Browning and sister Wanda Dickson.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Neola Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The family will gather at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m.. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday prior to services.

Memorials may be made with the South Wind Hospice House and Silver Maple Camp both in care of the funeral home.
