Esther Katherine Bentson
Was born March 21, 1917, in Meade County to parents Opal and Arthur Harner and died Jan. 21, 1012 in Wichita, Kansas.
Esther first studied at Harding College, and received a teaching certificate from Kansas State Teachers College in Pittsburn in 1939. She married Kenneth Bentson in 1945. The couple raised two sons, Richard and Herbert, in Pretty Prairie, where they owned and operard a grain and livestock farm.
Survivors include son Richard (Susan); granddaughter Erika; brothers David (Joan) Harner and Charles (Donna) Harner; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her busband and her youngest son Herbert.
