ETHEL MARIE RICKER

Ethel Marie Ricker, 94, died Jan. 11, 2019, at Coldwater, Kansas.

She was born June 27, 1924, at Odin, Kansas the daughter of Emil and Mary Kinzel Zecha. A longtime resident of the Nashville and Zenda communities, she was a nurse graduating from the St. Joseph School of Nursing in Kansas City, Missouri.

Ethel was a member of the St. John Catholic Church, Zenda; a fifty- year member as well as a Charter member of the Zenda Federated Music Club of Zenda; and the Kingman County Home Extension Unit.

On Oct. 22, 1945, she married Alvin Ricker at Ellinwood, Kansas; he died Dec. 19, 2012. Survivors include son James and his wife Nancy; daughter Becky Mosshart and her husband Sam; brother Bernard Zecha; sister Bernice Henderson; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by brothers Irvin, Joe, Norbert, and Norman; and sisters Sally Vink and Clarissa Blessing.

Parish rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the St. John Catholic Church, Zenda. Burial will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery at Nashville, Kansas.
