Obituary

Etta Mae Frampton, loving wife and mother passed Sept. 7, 2025.

Her passion was her family especially her great-grandchildren and watching old westerns.

Besides being a farm wife she had been a cook at Turon Grade School and Fairfield High School then at Mennonite Manor Nursing Home.  She taught Sunday School and served as a 4-H leader.

On April 10, 1960, she married Ronald Eugene Frampton at

Monett, Missouri; he died in 2022.  She is  survived by a son Robert and his wife Mendy; daughter Dianna Smith and her husband Craig; three grandsons Cody (Carolyne) Frampton, Chance Frampton (Ashley Matthews),  and Wyatt (Kassidy)  Smith; great-grandchildren Wyatt Grilliot,  Coy Frampton,  Gemma, Holland and Briar Smith; brother Tom Balmas and his wife Sue; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald; parents Eli and Lola Balmas; sister Norma Bowman; and brothers Charles Balmas and Jim Balmas.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025 at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.  The family will receive friends prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Lerado Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the Kingman Healthcare Center or Wheatlands Health Care Center, both in care of Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman KS 67068.
