EUGENE H. "GENE" SMITH

Eugene H. "Gene" Smith, 93, died Feb. 7, 2022 in Kingman.

He was born Dec. 20, 1929, at Hutchinson the son of Linn and Mary Hess Smith.

A longtime resident of the Kingman community, he was a retired farmer and general contractor.

Gene was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.

On Sept. 29, 1982, he married Anna Denison McCrary.  Other survivors include son Archie and Brent; daughter Laurie Lott; step-children Robert Webster and Sandra Hull; brother Ray; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by sons Kenneth and Curtis; and step-sons J.D. Webster and Charles Hull.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the Hoosier Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday at the Livingston Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made with Wheatlands Healthcare Center or the Kingman Community Hospital Oncology Dept.
