EUNICE ADEL MOODY

Eunice Adel Moody, 90, died June 21, 2011 at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.

She was born Dec. 22, 1920, at Stafford the daughter of Daniel S. and Lena Lichte Meschberger. A Kingman resident since 1950, previously of Hutchinson, she received her nurse's training at Grace Hospital and was a retired RN from the Kingman hospitals.

She was a member of the Kingman Church of Christ, NARFE, the Kingman Kitchen Band, and the KS Nursing Assn.

On Oct. 18, 1942, she married Wayne E. Moody at Stafford; he died June 2, 2003. Survivors include daughter Sharon James and husband Chester; son-in-law Bill Culp; brothers Wayne and Marion Meschberger; grandchildren Deborah (Steve) Gibbs, Sarah (Matt) Walker, Richard (Rachel) James, Wendy (Greg) Moody, Carol (Derek) Barnhart; Amanda (Chad) Luck; and a special friend Maribel Poundstone. She was preceded in death by daughter Beverly Culp; brother Donald; sisters Florence Benton, Rosalie Thiessen, Carol and Orvilla Meschberger.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with the Moody Endowment Scholarship of York College, York, NE and Carpenter Place (formerly Maude Carpenter's Children's Home), both in care of the funeral home.
