EVELYN M. DUNKLEBERGER

Evelyn M. Dunkleberger, 94, died Nov. 21, 2010 at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman.

She was born Sept. 15, 1916, at Kingman County, Ks., the daughter of John and Grace Day Cummings. A longtime resident of Kingman County, she was retired from teaching at the Nashville-Zenda Grade School.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Kingman; the American Baptist Women's Association, the Retired Teachers Association, and the Zenda Music Club.

On Nov 4, 1937, she married Wilbur Dunkelberger at Kingman; he died Aug. 25, 2001. Survivors include daughter Carol Flener; sister Dorothy Hoppes; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son Jon; 3 sisters; and 2 granddaughters.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont.

Memorials may be made with the American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
