Evelyn A. Graber, 95, died Nov. 14, 2020.

She was born Nov. 4, 1925, at Murdock, Kansas the daughter of John H. and Elsie Kaufman Saner.  A lifetime resident of Pretty Prairie, she was a retired secretary for Pretty Prairie USD 311, the City of Pretty Prairie and the Pretty Prairie Library.  She also decorated the windows in Pretty Prairie for many years.

Evelyn was a member of the First Mennonite Church.

On May 30, 1948, she married Victor E. Graber at Pretty Prairie; he died Dec. 2, 1980.  Survivors include daughter Vickie Detter; grandson Dennis Detter and his wife Kimberly; granddaughter Nicole Putnam and her husband Mark; and 7 great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a son Dennis Jay; her brother Jay Saner; and an infant sister Joyce.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday at the First Mennonite Church.  The family is asking for masks and all precautions be observed.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Livingston Funeral Home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made with  Hospice of Reno County in care of the funeral home.
