Florence Ruth (Krehbiel) Huxman, 92, of Pretty Prairie, was born
September 15, 1924 and passed away September 18, 2016 at
Prairie Sunset Home in Pretty Prairie. Visitation will be held with
family present from 5PM-7PM, Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at
the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.

Services will be on Thursday, September 22, 1030AM at the First
Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie, KS with Pastor Don Roberts
officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Huxman's honor may be made to
Prairie Sunset Home or First Mennonite Church of Pretty Prairie.

Florence was born in Pretty Prairie to John and Emma (Graber)
Krehbiel. She attended Pretty Prairie schools through 10th grade
and then completed high school at Hesston Bible Academy.
Florence married Victor Huxman, December 15, 1943. They were
married 44 years.

Florence was a homemaker. She is remembered by her family as
loving and caring in nature, with a quick smile, and keen sense of
humor. Her priorities were her Christian faith, family and friends.
She was a lifetime member of First Mennonite Church of Pretty
Prairie. She loved reading and studying the scriptures and prayed
fervently She is additionally known for actively serving and
participating in church functions. She also loved corresponding by
letter with friends and family when far away, ill, grieving, or
whenever in need.

Florence was preceded in death by husband, Vic on October 8,
1987, her parents and parents-in-law, brother, Harry Krehbiel,
sister, Opal Graber, 5 sister-in-laws, 6 brother-in-laws, numerous
friends, 3 infant daughters (Janelle, June Ann, Joyce Elaine).

She is survived by 2 sons Jim and wife Alice of Newton, KS, Jess
and wife Susan of Harrisonburg ,VA; 1 daughter Joleen Rinaldo
(Bob) of Sterling, CO; 7 grandchildren Tiffany Dillon (Luke)
Hesston, KS, Lindsey Funk (Ryan), Leawood, KS; Brian Rinaldo
(Erin) Sterling, CO, Kimberly Way (Jordan), Fort Collins, CO,
Julia Ronnebaum (Trey) Lawrence, KS, Emily Huxman, Bluffton,
OH and Connor Huxman, Waterloo, Ontario; 6 great grandchildren
Lyndon and Kaden Dillon, Solomon, Linus and Bexton Funk, and
Madalynn Rinaldo., sister Vi Graber, brother-in law, Alvin
Huxman and wife Arlene, and sister-in-law Bessie Huxman,
numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
